The Pet Tailor

Happy Tails Camp Resort

Farm

Down on Our Farm,
There are many activities for our visitors to watch through out the day.

Ba-Ba Hill Farm

Ba Ba Hill is what we named the hill across from our home and Pet Resort. It is where our sheep graze several times during the day.

The sheep share the field with two Horses.

Our commercial flock is a cross of Scottish Blackface and Suffolk bred to Fin and Dorset.

We selected a breeding program to produce multiple live births with strong natural mothering skills, good health with strong immune systems, long thick wool and to grade well for meat.

We are trying to cut back our breeding and trying to avoid winter lambing but our ram did not get that memo and several lambs have already been born this year.

Yes, they all have names and know our voice.
When Jesus called us sheep it may not have been a compliment but at least we know we are loved.

Also On The Farm

"Prince" is a rescue horse that never made it to the racetrack. We figure he is now about 20 years young.

"Shannon" is a 5-year-old Palomino Quarter Horse mare that was purchased last year. She is a great comfort to Prince and is fun to have on the farm.

Wild Kitty Mountain

The hillside behind our home is listed on the county maps as Turkey Ridge but we call it Wild Kitty Mountain because of all the feral cats that live on it. These cats make their walk around our facility and are often seen watching the visitors from a safe distance. We have been able to tame some of them over the years and currently have three in our home.
